Barack Obama == Senator Palmer

I didn't realize that until this morning, when I saw the rallies and realized that the primaries were today, and that therefore Jack Bauer was probably doing his thing somewhere to keep Obama from being attacked.

I voted, of course.

I'm not sure they just have Jack Bauer protecting every primary election candidate who comes skipping along. Come November (assuming Obama wins the Democratic nomination), Jack Bauer will be killing many, many people to prevent attack. For Super Tuesday, he's probably just minding his own business (or at least killing no more than 3-4 guys).

My polling location was packed (& I was running late for my train), so I need to vote after work now. Of course, I also have to figure out what ballot I'm voting on (there's a tight state senator race & state congressmen race, but both are different party's ballots--none of the presidential candidates are strong to sway me to one ballot on their merit alone, sadly)

His secret service retinue was assigned after he won the iowa caucuses. For more on why (not that it shouldn't be obvious), let me turn the floor over to my good friend Lower Manhatttenite of the Group News Blog.

I knew about the secret service detail (I didn't before, but they made a huge deal about it last election during one of John Kerry's ski trips), but I was just making a point that it wasn't time for Jack Bauer...yet :)

You voted for Ron Paul, or someone else?

Obama. I probably would have voted for Ron Paul if I'd had the chance; but since I was registered as no-affiliation, I was only allowed to vote for a Democrat or an American Independent.

And I would like to see Obama win this one.

I thought of this during Sunday's UCLA rally. Kiefer Sutherland is even out of jail now! But then it occurred to me, with California being on Super Tuesday now, chances are he would be elsewhere. I don't know where he started the day, but he finished it at the Hyatt downtown back home.
